Her friends tease her, giving bags full of scraps for her birthday. "They think it is funny, but I've made full quilts from those scraps."&lt;/em&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc33cc;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#cc33cc;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#993399;"&gt;Chris was the featured quilter at "Kaleidoscope of Quilts," the Hawaii Quilt Guild's annual show, back in May at the Linekona Academy Art Center.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#993399;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Verdana;color:#993399;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;Oh &amp;amp; by the way, if you live or are on holiday near Gainesville, Florida - did you know that The Florida Museum of Natural History and the Quilters of Alachua County Day Guild will co-host “Quilting Natural Florida” until Sept. 4 at the Florida Museum. The exhibition features contemporary quilts with an emphasis on the plants, animals and environments of natural Florida.
